The town of Ossipee, NH planned to demolish a building at 15 Moultonville Road without proper public voting, leading to controversy and legal action

The Ossipee selectmen decided to demolish the building, which housed the Main Street Program run by the Ossipee Revitalization Group

Selectman Jonathan Smith claimed the building had structural, electrical, and mold issues

In response, Lynn Clarke, president of the Ossipee Revitalization Group, filed a civil complaint against the town on April 15, seeking to prevent the demolition

Clarke requested a public hearing in accordance with the Right To Know Law before any demolition could occur

The town eventually held a special meeting on June 27, where about two-thirds of the 81 attendees voted to tear down the building

The Attorney General's Office is now investigating

Embezzlement by Town
Due to a misused court order the town of Ossipee NH then miss applied a tax lien on a public individual, who then uncovered the fact.
The town miss applied the tax to get payment out of an escrow account. altering town documents to make appear as if tax was paid by property owner:

Misapplied tax lien - Illegally drawing from mcdormands escrow account as a tax used for adding value not taking away!

Alteration of town documents - After getting the money from M&T Bank the town then applied the tax bill as if mcdormand paid cash.

Embezzlement over state lines - Escrow account fraud is a major violation and more so when it is over town lines

The Mocking Bird is a corruption uncovered out of Texas. This was something uncovered in 2017. Due to the information being available on the internet, locals have found the same scheme is being ran here in N.H.
